Privacy notice

This notice explains how Mihaela Panaitescu ("I", "me") uses personal information when you ask about a piece, book a fitting, contact me or use this website.

Who I am

Mihaela Panaitescu is a fashion designer based in London and the controller of your information. Contact: michela.style@gmail.com, 07459 087903.

What I collect

• What you send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the kind of piece, when you need it and your message.
• What you send by WhatsApp, phone or email, such as photos of the garment or item you'd like changed, ideas and references, measurements for a fitting, and a delivery address if you ask for courier delivery.

Why I use it, and the legal basis

• To reply to you, design and make your piece, arrange fittings and deliver it: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To keep the records tax law requires, such as payments: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
• To keep this website secure and working: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

I don't use your details for marketing and I don't sell them.

Who helps me

These providers handle information for me, only on my instructions:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
• Resend, which delivers the form to my email inbox.
• Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
• WhatsApp (Meta) and my email provider, when you contact me that way.
• The courier, only your name and delivery address, when you ask for delivery.
• Google, only if you choose to load the map.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to an order are deleted within 12 months. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (usually six years). Measurements and photos of your garments are deleted once your piece is delivered, unless you agree that I can show photos of the finished piece.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask me to correct or delete it, object to how I use it or ask me to restrict it. Email michela.style@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website uses no advertising and no visit statistics. The Google map loads only if you allow it; when it does, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. See the cookie notice.
